PARK AND RIDE OFFICIALLY OPENS!

Yate Park and Ride Open

After our hard-fought community campaign, I am delighted that our brand new Park & Ride is now open!

🚌 Where is it?

The new Park and Ride is situated on Badminton Road, next to the South Gloucestershire Council Offices.

🚌 What facilities will it have?

The park and ride has:

βœ… 198 parking spaces

βœ… secure cycle parking for 46 bikes

βœ… improved bus stops

The other facilities that will be available soon include:

βœ… 38 electric vehicle (EV) charge points

βœ… a car club

βœ… click and collect lockers

The car park will also be available for rail users at Yate Station.

🚌 Where does it go to?

The site will have buses running between Yate and Bristol, every 30 minutes.

🚌 Can I only Park there if I’m catching the bus?

No, you will be able to leave your car at the park and ride and chose to:

🚎 use public transport

🚲 cycle

🚘 share a car journey with someone else

πŸšΆπŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ walk

🚌 Do I have to park there if I am getting the bus?

No, you may travel to the car park using other modes of transport and catch one of the available bus services. Yate rain station is only an 8 – minute walk away and there is cycle parking available on site

🚌 How much is parking?

Parking will also be initially free, and will remain free for users who:

➑️Take an onward bus service

➑️Have parked an electric vehicle

➑️Have parked in a disabled spot, displaying a valid badge.
