Luke Hall MP’s seventh, and final Tour of Parliament for 2017, took place on Monday 4th December. The village of Frampton Cotterell travelled up to London and was then taken on an exclusive tour of Westminster Palace.
On Wednesday 29th November, Yate resident Liz Brennan hosted a Cystic Fibrosis event in Parliament, highlighting the importance of making new drugs such as Orkambi, available to children like her daughter Annabelle Brennan.
On Monday 6th November, Local MP Luke Hall welcomed residents of Wickwar to the Houses of Parliament. Luke continued to deliver on his promise to provide constituents with the opportunity to visit the heart of the British Democracy and to meet their MP where legislation is passed and debated.
Local MP Luke Hall is delighted to learn that our Kingsgate Park in Yate has been nominated in the Fields in Trust UK’s Best Park, as voted by YOU! 2017 Award. The deadline for voting one of our best loved local green spaces is 3rd November.
Local Thornbury and Yate MP Luke Hall is asking for residents views on local sort-it centres operating hours this month after residents in the Yate area have raised concerns over evening opening hours, which they believe are inconvenient for working families.
