A letter to Charfield residents from Luke Hall MP:
Dear Neighbour,
As you will know, the reopening of Charfield Station has been an ongoing campaign for our village, and we are pleased to say we have now taken another big step forward towards this becoming a reality.
Our Positive Plan for Broadband is determined to connect the remaining 4% of properties in South Gloucestershire which are unable to access any form of fibre broadband.
Our Positive Plan for the Environment is a firm commitment to tackling climate change and protecting the natural environment. Having lived in rural South Gloucestershire my whole life, I am determined to ensure we maintain our region's biodiversity and greenbelt.
Luke has lived in South Gloucestershire his whole life and since his election in 2015, has always been a strong and fierce advocate for keeping our local transport issues firmly on the agenda.

On 4th September 2015 Luke Hall will be holding his second Jobs Fair at the Shire Way Community Centre in Yate. The fair follows on from a highly successful fair last year, with the event this year offering free help and advice with CVs, as well as the opportunity to talk to numerous local employers, all of which are keen to take on new staff. On 1st and 2nd August the Windmill Fisheries Showground, Westerleigh Road, BS36 8QZ, will be home to the fantastic South Gloucestershire Show.The show is a huge demonstration of the strength of our community, and presents a wonderful display of the skills found in our area. The events include everything from shooting and fishing to music and gymnastics. There is some wonderful food and drink, and countless small retailers and charities have stalls to show their wares and get people involved.
